The Viroc panel is an organic material, composed of cement and wood, which gives it a unique and natural look. When supplied raw, without any finish, its surface may present some irregularities, such as stains, small incrustations, scratches, salts (efflorescence), and wood chips. These characteristics are part of the material’s identity; however, some stains may create more evident and less natural patterns, affecting aesthetic uniformity. The best way to minimize these marks is through a polishing/cleaning process.
For decorative applications, we recommend that panels be polished before installation. This process, performed with a cleaning pad, removes loose elements such as dust, salts, and dirt, maintaining the panel’s natural look without compromising its aesthetics.
