Viroc will sponsor the 3rd edition of the Algarve International Architecture Conferences, taking place on 18 and 19 September 2026 at the António Pinheiro Municipal Theatre in Tavira.
Organised by the Algarve Regional Section of the Portuguese Architects’ Association, the event will focus on “Architecture, Profession and Practice”, bringing together architects, specialists and other professionals for two days of discussion and reflection on the current challenges facing the profession.
The programme will include four guest panels and an international conference, with particular emphasis on the recent legislative revision of Portugal’s Legal Framework for Urbanisation and Building — RJUE. Other topics relevant to professional practice, architecture and the wider community will also be addressed.
During the event, the António Pinheiro Municipal Theatre will also host an exhibition featuring work by photographers who took part in World Photography Day. The exhibition will be open from 18 to 30 September.
